Q:QuestionI bought a Roborock S7MaxV Ultra Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum and Sonic Mop with Empty Wash Fill Dock and I am trying to locate it. How much space does it need in front of the dock? Will it go over a vent in front of uni and make a hard 90 deg right turn?

A:AnswerTechnically "yes". You can order it via best buy but good luck getting the correct part number or having it arrive within a reasonable time period right now. You are better off ordering directly from the company (expect a very long wait). I would hold off until Roborock starts delivering drying modules that actually match the base...the ones they are selling now are pretty much ugly (which sucks when you consider that you are getting close to a $1500 vacuum and mop after taxes and when adding they dryer).

A:AnswerI've got a larger space, and this vacuum can absolutely handle it. Sometimes it needs to go empty its bin or recharge partway through if it's also mopping, but it always goes back and finishes the whole house.

Q:QuestionWhy didn't Roborock install sensors in the dustbin? The unit will only empty the bin at the end of the job. Telling the robot to go and empty the bin from the app will end the job and you have to start all over. The box said it would automatically empty.

A:AnsweriRobot Roombas have a patent on that feature that other companies cant duplicate. I believe it expires in 2027. Just do specific room cleanings and you wont have to worry about overfilling dustbin on robot. If overfilling dustbin, you have a bigger problem lol!!

A:AnswerScratches occur when something harder comes in contact with something softer. For example, it is possible that the mop head collects a piece of metal in the mop head and continues the job. As a result, it would possibly scratch the floor until it cleaned the mop head.

A:AnswerMy Medium Pile Is Never Wet. It learns very well. To elaborate if the Robot goes room to room from tile to carpet it learns when to lift the mop of the floor. It truly gets smarter and smarter. You can tell it’s learning by the speed at which it cleans. The the more clean cycles the smarter it gets!
